Dear reader,
The vessels used by KNRM, the Royal Netherlands Sea Rescue Institution, have to be able to cope with the harshest conditions at sea – conditions in which other boats run into distress. If the KNRM vessel overturns during the rescue, it has the ability to re-right itself. And that means that the MTU engines propelling it must be able to do the same – keep on running, even if they are briefly upside-down. Find out more about this and many other fascinating topics in the latest issue of MTU eReport.
I wish you an enjoyable read.
