The German navigation system supplier Raytheon Anschütz, together with its subsidiary Raytheon Anschuetz Singapore Pte Ltd, shows its wide scope of navigation systems at this year’s Kormarine (Booth No O22, German Pavilion). Kormarine 2011 takes place from October 26-29 at Busan, South Korea.
The exhibit features the new generation of Multifunctional Workstations for advanced vessels as well as various turn-key navigation solutions for all kinds of seagoing vessels. As an example, the Compilot 20 steering stand combines Anschütz gyro compass heading reference with precise autopilot and manual steering control into a pre-configured, pre-wired and class-approved navigation package. When linked to an approved ECDIS the package is certified for track control steering of categories B and C. To further increase functionality, those systems can be easily extended to complete bridge systems by adding two radars to the scope of supply.
Jan Lötzsch, Managing Director at Raytheon Anschuetz Singapore, explains the benefit: "Raytheon Anschütz navigation systems combine advanced technology with high reliability, proven each day in thousands of installations around the world. Thanks to our engineer's deep experience in engineering we can arrange customized and cost-efficient turn-key packages with high flexibility, even for navigation systems that comply with the most demanding classification rules." With almost 800 delivered gyro compass and steering system packages within the past ten years, Raytheon Anschütz is a valued partner to the Korean shipbuilding and shipping market.
