MacGREGOR wins bulk handling crane orders worth more than €90 million

Orders for MacGREGOR bulk handling cranes secured between January and the end of March have a total value of more than €90 million

The orderbook boom in bulk handling cranes continues and MacGREGOR ‑ part of Cargotec Corporation ‑ confirmed that contracts for 276 cranes had been secured by the end of March. The cranes are destined for 69 bulk carriers on order in China and Korea for various shipowners in China, Singapore, Korea and Germany.

This news follows two other recent success stories for MacGREGOR’s Crane division:

• MacGREGOR signed contracts during the end of November and December for 390 cargo cranes for 101 ships on order in China and Korea
• In February MacGREGOR announced that it had won orders for 120 hose-handling and provisions cranes for tankers being built at Jiangsu Rongsheng Shipbuilding Co in China.
