"Wärtsilä will use the latest generation of Raytheon Anschütz Integrated Bridge Systems (IBS) which is perfectly prepared for seamless integration with engine and propulsion controls, alarm and monitoring systems."
Within the agreement Raytheon Anschütz will supply complete Integrated Bridge Systems. Wärtsilä intends to make its integrated packages, combining navigation and automation systems, available for all types of vessels. Wärtsilä services will be backed-up by the global Raytheon Anschütz service network and the central service coordination in Kiel.
The Raytheon Anschütz IBS consists of Multifunction Displays, Radars, Chart Systems, Conning Display, Gyro Compasses, Autopilots, Steering Controls, Speed Logs, Echo Sounders, DGPS, AIS, GMDSS Radio Stations and Satellite Communication.
