Founded in 1986, Aerospace Consulting & Services (AC&S) is an independent company providing a complete range of engineering, training, consulting and personnel leasing services for the aerospace and Defence industry.
From concept to maintenance, our industry-wide experience covers the entire cycle within fixed and rotary wing aircraft projects. In addition to this comprehensive range of integral solutions, AC&S provides specialized services in avionics, electronics, electronic warfare, special mission equipment and training and simulation technologies; with an eminent group of subject matter experts in maritime patrol, transport, tactical, tanker, fighter aircraft and helicopters.
As a hands-on adviser, partner or subcontractor, we work closely with aircraft and equipment manufacturers, shipyards, service suppliers, armed forces, acquisition agencies and governmental organizations, to commit the optimal selection of resources to each project.

ENGINEERING

AC&S tailors interdisciplinary teams from its pool of engineering experts to address each project with the optimal selection of know-how, skills and experience. Our pragmatic approach to merging technical and operational knowledge across competences and industry sectors and sub sectors, translates into the provision of top quality engineering services to our customers.

TRAINING

The AC&S training products, developed to meet and harmonize with the needs of the customers, are planned and developed in collaboration with subject matter experts, experts in information technology and media design, corresponding with advanced pedagogic and psychological knowledge.

In order to be able to meet all customer requests, AC&S offers a wide range of training-tools:

CONSULTING

We offer support in many aspects of a project, including studies, evaluations and analyses, proposals, system concepts, specifications and project management.
Our clients also gain from our advice in various business areas such as strategy, marketing and commercial partnerships and alliances.

AC&S is specialized in the successful occupation of specialists and leading personnel. Our experience in aeronautics, operational as well as technical, provides us with the capability to find competent employees and provide them to our customers. PROJECTS

AC&S has been successfully involved in many complex projects and programs.

Recent projects:

• In 2007, AC&S has been contracted by ThyssenKrupp Marine Systems of Hamburg to assist with the concept of the integration of Helicopters into the MEKO A200 vessel for the export market.
• The German Arms Procurement Office (- BWB) had tasked AC&S in 2005 and 2006 to conduct a study for the upgrade of the P-3C simulators, which the German Navy took over from the Netherlands in 2006 together with 8 P-3C aircraft. Unlike the aircraft the simulators (Operational Flight Trainer and Operational Tactics Trainer) had not been upgraded to the new CUP configuration by the Netherlands.
  Scope of the simulator study:
  - A Request For Information (RFI) with pre-selected companies in order to obtain qualified options and budgetary figures for the simulator upgrade
  - Conception of a Statement of Work (SOW) as a basic upgrade specification
  - Support of BWB in tender process and evaluation of upgrade proposals
• In conjunction with the simulator study AC&S was tasked to conduct a Training Needs Analysis (TNA) for the 12-crew P-3C complement.
